Chinawhite opened its doors in December 1998. A collaboration between friends, Chinawhite was developed by Rory Keegan, John Stephen and Patrice Gouty, three veterans of the International Entertainment Industry, whose collective experience is unparalleled. Add to this the support offered by the rest of the Board, the club started life with one of the strongest Management Teams it could possibly have had at its helm.
Created by a design team led by Rory Keegan with architects Munkenbeck & Marshall & Satmoko Ball, Chinawhite features an elaborate and decadent tribute to the principals of Feng Shui. Guests enjoy an adventure as they explore the various rooms.
The oriental styles of Bali, Java and Sumatra are fused with a theatrical flair that owes much to the influences of ballet, theatre and film sets, creating a space that is dramatic and different, with startling use of colour and refreshingly new ideas. It offers a complete break from the bland minimalism, ubiquitous black box or marble clad venues of recent years.
Much of the success enjoyed by Chinawhite over the past eight years can be attributed to a strategically planned Rollout and Development Plan, engineered by the Board with the assistance of Marketing and Public Relations Agencies. The Club caters to top echelons of the international club scene with the client spectrum including members of the music, fashion, film, media & social scenes, creating the ultimate platform from which to launch a global brand. The club maintains it's exclusive and glamorous image through highly selective membership and door policy. Influential and celebrity guest remain comfortable through management's discretion upon their attendance and careful handling of the media. Exclusivity is at the forefront everything and the unwavering loyalty to our members is what guarantees their privacy and comfort.
