Sugar Hut
“Another West London gem, this one done up in Oriental Shangri-La style elegance, full of bejewelled Arab ceiling lamps, Chinese red drapes, dark Moorish walls and statues of the Buddha. The cocktails are killer South Asian-sounding delights: try the Weeping Tiger made with Wyborowa melon vodka, shaken with fresh mango and charged with soda; or the Lotus Flower made with vanilla-infused Bacardi shaken with guava, mango and passion fruit. The dining area to the side is beautiful, with gorgeous cream chairs and dark wood tables, all lit in a soft romantic glow. Food wise the Thai curries and the Sea Bass in herbs wrapped in banana leaves are fantastic - or just stick to the drinks. Either way, give sweet thanks to Sugar Hut.” Worlds best Bars
“Heavy curtains, lavish lounge beds & exotic artefacts create an almost Arabian feel to this self-proclaimed Thai restaurant, which actually appears to borrow design influences from as far afield as Morocco, while allowing chefs to play with flavours from across Asia. “ Square Meal
